Resize images

Resizing creates a new raster image. Upscaling does not restore detail; it only interpolates pixels. For website use, a smaller pixel width can reduce memory and download weight.

JPG, PNG, WebP · One file

Files are read and processed by this browser; they are not uploaded to PaperMorrow.

For device stability, each input file must be 40 MiB or smaller. Very large PDFs or page counts may exceed available mobile memory. Image processing is limited to 16 megapixels; PDF operations are limited to 120 pages.

01 / GUIDE

How to use Resize images

  1. Choose the source image and enter a width or height in pixels.
  2. Keep the ratio locked unless you intend to stretch the image.
  3. Resize and check the resulting dimensions before downloading.

02 / DETAILS

About this conversion

Set a target width or height and keep the aspect ratio, or enter both dimensions when a deliberate stretch is acceptable.

Resizing creates a new raster image. Upscaling does not restore detail; it only interpolates pixels. For website use, a smaller pixel width can reduce memory and download weight.

Limits to know

Each input is limited to 40 MiB and 16 megapixels so the browser has a safer memory budget. Very large dimensions can still exceed the memory available on a phone.

Processing runs in this browser. Originals are not overwritten, and the output size is measured in bytes before download. Keep a backup of important files.

03 / FAQ

Questions people ask

Can resizing restore a small photo?

No. Enlarging adds interpolated pixels but cannot restore detail that was never in the source.

What happens to the aspect ratio?

The lock keeps the original proportions when one dimension changes; unlocking it permits stretching.
